As a small volume builder we only like to have a limited number of houses on the go at once so that I can personally supervise them. This is why we are chosen to do individual homes for people that want to have more input into the construction and design of their homes than you can have with a project home firm.

We build in flood zones, where bearers and joists are required, fire zones, where special requirements need to be met and difficult sites where my vast building knowledge is required. We also build on acreages with a full range of looks from Traditional Queenslanders right through to Ultra Modern.

We have built various lakefront, river front, and beachside homes on the Tuggerah Lakes, Chittaway and Wyong River, Macmasters Beach, Patonga, and Lake Macquarie.

We can build on nearly any block around the Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Newcastle.

We pride ourselves on being builders and definitely NOT a project homes builder, we get to know who you are and your requirements or needs.

Below are the steps to your new home.

  1. We obtain a Contour Survey of your land
  2. You meet with our Draftsman to design your dream home or select one of our designs
  3. We cost the design and provide you with a Quotation
  4. You obtain your finance, sign the Building Contracts and pay your deposit
  5. We arrange Council approvals and Structural Engineering
  6. We commence construction of your new home

If you already have existing plans we would be happy to quote on them as well.

Building a house can be a pleasure or a nightmare as you see on current affairs shows most nights. Here at Clive Kennedy Homes we endeaver to make it a pleasure from the first contact, through the planning and building process to the handover.
We find the problem starts with the inclusions list. If your quote is a single page with a single figure there will be problems, many major. Our inclusion list is detailed nominating every item that we are supplying with brand names and model numbers. Any items that we are not supplying will be noted, and any other items that we have not quoted on are noted. In the inclusions list you need black and white not grey areas. I could tell many stories of hidden extras and cost blowouts from a "she'll be right" quote.
